HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS

* THE DEFINITION OF RELATIONSHIP:
>  The state of being connected or related; association by blood or marriage; (Oxford Dictionary).

>  Connected by LOVE;

* When you have a girlfriend or boyfriend…
> You want to know everything about him/her;
> You want to talk to her/him everyday;
> You want to be with her/him all the time;
> You want her/him to be satisfied;
> You want to make her/him happy;
> You are willing to spend money on everything for her/him;
> You want to look at her/him even for the whole day;
> You will miss her/him all the day;
> You want to give her/him everything you have;
> You would travel a long distance to meet her/him.

* IS THERE ANYONE THINKING OF THE NAME JESUS?

Luke 14:26
 "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters--yes, even his own life--he cannot be my disciple". (NIV)
The Contemporary English Version:
"You can’t be my disciple, unless you love me more than you love your father and mother, your wife and children, and your brother and sisters. You can’t follow me unless you love me more than you love your own life".

LORD JESUS IS WORTH LOVING.
1. GOD FIRST LOVED US:
Psalms 57:10
"For great is your love, reaching to the heavens"
Psalms 116:1
"I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy".
1 John 4:10
"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins".

2. IT IS THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD:
Matthew:
22:37 > Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
22:38 > This is the first and greatest commandment.

3. THE PROMISES IN BIBLE----GOD WANT US TO BE BLESSED
Deuteronomy;
5:9 > You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
5:10 > but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

19:9 > because you carefully follow all these laws I command you today--to love the LORD your God and to walk always in his ways--then you are to set aside three more cities.
30:16 > For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.
